The Company Security Officer Course (IMO Model Course 3.20) trains the shore-based officer accountable for a shipping company’s ISPS compliance across its vessels. Topics include ship security assessment, developing and maintaining the Ship Security Plan, liaison with PFSOs and SSOs, security level management, and audit and verification. The CSO is a required designation under the ISPS Code.
