This awareness course, drawn from IMO Model Courses 3.24 and 3.25, gives all port facility personnel the baseline security knowledge required under the ISPS Code. Those with designated security duties receive additional instruction on their specific responsibilities, threat recognition, reporting, and response, while general personnel gain awareness of security levels, restricted areas, and their role in the facility’s security culture.
